An account keeps your forecasts and your score. It is free and it needs only an email.
Each match earns 0 to 100 points. Sure and right gives 100. Sure and wrong gives 0. A third each gives 67 whatever happens.
That is one minus half the Brier score, the standard way to grade probabilities. It rewards honest doubt: over a season, a calibrated forecast beats a lucky all-in.
The model and the market are scored the same way on the same matches. The market is Betano.pt's prices with the bookmaker margin taken out. “Everyone else” is the average of the forecasts locked by other people, shown only when at least five did.
