Community rules
Oddvise has a small community: match rooms, a free forecasting game and a private record of the calls you took. These are the rules.
What it is for
The community is for reasons about football matches and for keeping yourself honest about your own results. It is not a place to sell tips, find a group or advertise a bookmaker. No money moves on Oddvise: the forecasting game has no stakes and no prizes, and nothing here is betting advice.
Who can take part
- You must be 18 or older, with one account and a verified email.
- You choose a handle. It is shown on your takes. It is never your email or your name, and it must not pass for Oddvise, a moderator or someone else.
In a take
- Say why you think a price is right or wrong, and what could go against you. A take has a reason and is 20 to 280 characters.
- No links, email addresses, phone numbers, or invitations to another app or private message.
- No promotions: referral or bonus codes, free bets, paid or VIP groups, affiliate links.
- Never promise a win. Words like “guaranteed”, “sure thing” or “risk free” are refused.
- No abuse, harassment or hate, and no personal information about anyone.
- No claims that a match is fixed.
A take written before kickoff is stamped with the time and cannot be edited, so what you said stays what you said. You can remove your own take at any time.
Reports, blocking and moderators
- Every take has a Report button. When three different people report a take, it is hidden until a moderator has looked at it.
- A moderator can show it again or remove it. Repeated breaking of the rules ends with the account being closed.
- You can block anyone from their take. You will no longer see their takes, and you can unblock them on your account page.
To tell us about something that cannot wait, or to ask about a decision, write to contact@oddvise.com. We aim to answer within 24 hours.
Your data
Your handle and your takes are public. Your followed bets and your forecasts are private to you: others only see counts and averages that cannot be traced to a person. Deleting your account deletes your takes, votes, forecasts and bets. See the privacy policy and the terms of use.
Gambling can be a problem
If betting stops being fun, stop and talk to someone. Our responsible gambling page lists where to find help.
